Azryain Borhan
Director/Chief Executive Officer
Azryain previously served the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) as Director of Corporate Development & Policy Division and later, the SSM Training Academy. While there, he was seconded to the Prime Minister’s Office Special Innovation Unit (Unit Inovasi Khas – UNIK). He also advised the Prime Minister’s Office Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia (PR1MA) initiative. Prior to joining SSM, Azryain was an Assistant Vice President, Legal & Support in Khazanah Nasional, a Legal Manager in Borcos Shipping Sdn Bhd, a Senior Prosecution Officer and subsequently a Senior Associate in Securities Issues Division, Securities Commission. He was admitted as an advocate & solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and briefly practised in the areas of litigation, intellectual property and corporate advisory. Azryain graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia with an LLB (Hons).
Azmeer Mohd Rawi
Director/Chief Financial Officer
Azmeer was previously the Finance Director of Nakilat Damen Shipyard Qatar, a joint venture company between Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd and Damen Shipyard Netherlands. He was seconded to the company by Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd. Azmeer holds a Bachelor Degree of Accountancy with Honours from the International Islamic University Malaysia. Upon graduation, he served as an auditor with Messrs. Ernst & Young for 4 years, overseen the automobile, oil and gas, maritime, construction and manufacturing portfolios. He later joined Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd and served the company for 10 years. His last position was Finance Manager, where he oversaw the company’s operations in Indonesia. Azmeer’s forte is the oil and gas industry, specifically in shipbuilding, production sharing contracts, fund raising, block acquisition, tax planning and regulatory framework.
