Our Signature Learning Programme
Our signature programme is called the ‘Corporate Navigation Agenda’. Its content focuses in empowering the corporate role-players with the knowledge of the Economic Triple Helix to enable effective navigation of the complex and challenging corporate environment. A brief description of the ‘Corporate Navigation Agenda’ are as follows:
(i) Corporate Governance: Concept & Integration
This module explains the definition, concept and context of corporate governance. Participants will also be briefed of the evolution of corporate governance, its business/economic value propositions, myths and how to effectively integrate corporate governance within an organization.
(ii) Anatomy of a Company
This module explains the definition and historicity of the concept of corporations. It also identifies the salient features of a company and its key role-players. Understanding these ‘basic’ features goes a long way towards effective implementation of corporate governance in a corporation.
(iii) Managing Corporate Directorship
This module translate key legal provisions in Companies Act 1965 into strategic corporate management and effective decision making tools. The board of directors and key management personnel will appreciate the legal provisions from a fresh perspective.
(iv) Managing Corporate Meetings
This module explains the dynamics of key corporate meetings namely the board of directors meeting and general meetings. Participants will also obtain insights on effective meeting management.
(v) Managing Shareholders
ExpectationsThis module identifies the key duties and responsibilities of the board of directors towards the shareholders. It emphasizes the importance of disclosure and consultation towards ensuring the harmonious relationship between the parties.
Corporate Responsibility: Concept & Integration
This module explains the definitions and concept of corporate responsibility. Participants will be briefed on the evolution of corporate responsibility, its business/economic value propositions, myths and how to effectively integrate corporate responsibility into the business value chain.
(i) Understanding innovation
This module explains the definition and concept of innovation. Participants will also be briefed on the characteristics of innovation, types of innovation, its significance and the basic approach to innovation.
(ii) Integrating Innovation into Corporate Operations
This module shares a few methodologies of innovation as well as best practices/tips to manage and nurture innovation within a corporate institution.
Apart from the Economic Triple Helix learning modules, Pinnacle Perintis is especially proud to share its knowledge on Malaysia’s strategic national intent through a specially designed module called ‘Malaysia’s Strategic National Intent: A Prelude to Corporate Learning’. The 30-minutes module explains the global economic and business trajectories and structure of the country’s strategic national intent (i.e. Vision 2020, New Economic Model, Tenth Malaysia Plan, Economic Transformation Programme and Government Transformation Programme). Participants will embark on a journey to discover various economic and business opportunities within the context of global and domestic economic/business perspectives. This constitute part of Pinnacle Perintis’ corporate responsibility initiative.
